Our complete policy covering all payment paths, exchange arrangements, and the limited circumstances under which credits or rescheduling may be offered.
All sales are final.
Once a service has been delivered or scheduled, no refunds will be issued — regardless of payment method.
Overview
House of Mahakali provides spiritual services including readings, ritual work, and energetic clearing. Because this work is personal, experiential, and non-transferable in nature, we maintain a strict no-refund policy across all payment paths. By booking or purchasing any service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out on this page.
Payment Methods
We accept payment through three paths. The policy is consistent across all of them: no refunds once a service is scheduled or delivered.
Card payments are processed securely through Stripe. Once a session is confirmed or delivered, no refund will be issued to the card.
If a session is rescheduled by the practitioner due to an emergency, you will receive a reschedule credit for a future booking of equal value. This is not a refund — it is a scheduling accommodation.
KarmaKoins spent on a service are non-refundable. Once redeemed for a session, they cannot be returned to your balance. KarmaKoins are not convertible to cash under any circumstance.
If a session is cancelled by the practitioner, the KarmaKoins used will be returned to your account balance within 48 hours.
Sessions provided through the community pool or under sliding-scale arrangement are offered in good faith. No payment was collected, so no refund applies. These sessions are a gift and should be received as such.
Chargebacks & Disputes
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank after a service has been rendered or scheduled constitutes fraud under our terms. We maintain records of all session communications, delivery confirmations, and scheduling correspondence.
In the event of an unwarranted dispute, we will provide full documentation to the payment processor and reserve the right to pursue recovery of fees incurred. We take the integrity of this practice seriously — please contact us directly if you have a concern before initiating any dispute.
Limited Exceptions
There are two narrow circumstances in which a credit or accommodation may be offered — not a refund.
Practitioner cancellation: If a scheduled session is cancelled by the practitioner with less than 24 hours notice (due to emergency, illness, or circumstance beyond control), you will be offered a full reschedule at no additional cost. This is not a monetary refund.
Technical failure preventing delivery: If a technical failure on our end prevents the delivery of a digital session or written reading — and the failure is documented and verifiable — a re-delivery will be offered. Dissatisfaction with the content of a reading or session does not constitute a delivery failure.
On the Nature of Spiritual Work
Spiritual services are not predictive or guaranteed in outcome. A reading reflects what is visible to the practitioner in the present moment. Ritual work is performed with full sincerity but cannot guarantee specific results. By engaging any service, you acknowledge that spiritual outcomes are not subject to refund because they are not deterministic products — they are acts of care, attention, and practice.
